Business Analyst (ISO and Wires)

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Requirement Gathering and Analysis:

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements related to wire transfers and ISO 20022 standards.
Analyze and interpret these requirements to ensure they align with business objectives and regulatory standards.
2. Process Mapping and Improvement:

Map current wire transfer processes and identify areas for improvement.
Develop and implement process enhancements to comply with ISO 20022 standards and improve efficiency.
3. Documentation:

Create detailed business requirement documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and user stories.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of all changes and updates to wire transfer processes and systems.
4. Stakeholder Communication:

Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, and external partners.
Facilitate meetings and workshops to ensure clear communication and understanding of project goals and requirements.
5. Testing and Validation:

Develop test plans and test cases to validate that the implemented solutions meet the business requirements.
Coordinate and conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure any issues are resolved before deployment.
6. Project Management Support:

Assist in project planning, scheduling, and tracking progress.
Ensure that project milestones are met and that any risks or issues are promptly addressed.
7. Training and Support:

Provide training and support to end-users on new processes and systems.
Develop training materials and user guides to facilitate smooth transitions.
8. Compliance and Risk Management:

Ensure that all wire transfer processes comply with relevant regulations and standards, including ISO 20022.
Identify and mitigate any risks associated with changes to wire transfer systems and processes.
Technical Proficiency: Understanding of wire transfer systems (e.g., Fedwire, SWIFT) and ISO 20022 messaging standards.
Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex business processes and data to identify issues and opportunities for improvement.

A minimum of 5 years of prior experience as a Business Analyst in an environment where wire transfers occur is REQUIRED. This work can be done remotely from anyplace in the Continental U.S. (daily work schedule will be on Eastern Time).
